Julane performed Norwegian music on violin and Hardanger fiddle at the Madden Art Center in Decatur, Illinois on June 7, 2013. The performance was held during the opening of a special Norwegian exhibit at the center.
Glenna and Karl Pearson, of Park Ridge, Illinois, danced to Julane's music and demonstrated traditional Norwegian dances to the crowd.

In June Julane demonstrated her pocket fiddle at the Lund family farm near Rolette, North Dakota and her uncle, Ken Lund, tried playing it. Doesn't he look a bit like Ole Bull or maybe Grieg?
In May Julane played with percussionist, Dr. Thomas Zirkle, as part of Lund's Concert Series at the Art Sanctuary, in Martinsville, Indiana.
Dr. Zirkle performed on instruments from around the world for this number in which Julane performed on the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle.
Julane and Dr. "Z" did free improvisation together. Here is Julane coming up with some unique, new, creative ideas on the violin!
In April Julane performed at the Folk Alliance Region Midwest conference, which was held in Fayette, Ohio. Here she is singing.
The conference was dubbed "FARMette." Julane played a traditional tune on Hardanger fiddle.
